Therapeutic Svadhyaya Yoga™ Teacher Training
500-Hour Program

Our 500 Hour Level trainings advance teachers’ practice and understanding of the depth of Svadhyaya Yoga.  At this level, we continue to study the two fundamental aspects of Svadhyaya Yoga which are the study of the Self and the therapeutic application of yoga techniques to meet the individual needs of diverse populations.

As we explore ever more profound layers of consciousness teachers will have the opportunity to deepen self knowledge and to integrate yoga principles even more fully into their lives.  Consistent with our 200-hour level program, there is sharing of one’s inner experiences, study, practice teaching and discussion with the focus on each person’s unique divine Self.

Our study of texts includes the Baghavad Gita, Advanced Anatomy & Physiology, Advanced Energy Anatomy & Physiology, Meditation, Asana, and Pranayama.

Students will be expected to continue or jump start a daily yoga practice focused on their individual needs.  This practice may be primarily asana, meditation, Self study, or any other aspect of the deep yoga principles of living the life of a yogi.

Silver Lotus is happy to accept all students who have completed a 200-hour level teacher training provided that the school is registered with the Yoga Alliance.  However an interview and a one day orientation are required at an additional cost, if you are not a graduate of a Silver Lotus Training Program.

We welcome people of all abilities and embrace diversity in all aspects.
